Tidy Lives Team

Rachael

Hello, I’m Rachael, the founder and owner of Tidy Lives, which has been providing professional decluttering and organising services since 2016. With over 30 years of experience in administration and organisation, combined with 18 years in Interior Design (a field in which I hold a degree), I bring a wealth of expertise to my work. Additionally, I hold an award in Education and Training, allowing me to tutor adults within my local community.

In 2019, I trained as a Hoarding Practitioner and also obtained an Enhanced DBS check. I am fully insured and committed to providing safe, professional services to my clients. The idea for Tidy Lives was born out of my desire to help individuals and families affected by clutter and hoarding behaviours, especially following significant life changes. I saw first hand how clutter could take a toll on people’s mental and emotional well-being, and I knew there needed to be more support for those in need of guidance to organise and declutter their spaces.

In 2019, I joined Home Sweet Home to assist clients with relocations abroad, and in 2022, I became part of The Senior Move Partnership. I take great pride in working alongside them to offer compassionate, tailored services.

At Tidy Lives, our goal is simple: to restore calm and improve the well-being of our clients by tackling the clutter and disorganisation that affects their lives. We aim to leave our clients not only with tidy, organised spaces but also with a sense of relief and mental clarity.

Ellie

My name is Ellie, and I’ve been a proud member of the Tidy Lives team since 2018. Prior to joining, I trained and worked within a large retail company where I developed a strong foundation in organisation, customer care, and space management. Over the years, my passion for helping others led me to pursue further training in hoarding and decluttering, and I’ve since completed multiple specialised courses in these areas.

In 2019, I qualified as a certified Hoarding Practitioner—a role that has allowed me to better understand the complex emotional and psychological challenges that can come with clutter and hoarding behaviours. I bring both compassion and professionalism to every client interaction, always aiming to create a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals to regain control over their homes and lives.

At Tidy Lives, we take great pride in supporting individuals and families within our local community and beyond. Whether it’s assisting someone with a major home move or working closely with individuals struggling with chronic disorganisation, I’m deeply committed to making the process manageable, respectful, and even empowering.

I hold an enhanced DBS check and am fully insured, offering my clients peace of mind and a high standard of care at all times. Helping people find calm and clarity in their spaces is more than just a job—it’s something I truly love to do.
